We aim to reduce our environmental impact

Ortolink is committed to reducing its environmental and climate change impacts through a range of activities both within the company and in its choice of partners, giving preference to European manufacturers. We want to contribute to global and regional climate targets. To this end, we have set ourselves the following objectives:

Efficient use of resources
We aim to reuse and recycle 95% of the materials in which our goods arrive. We also optimise the dimensions of the packaging in which goods move from our premises to our customers. To this end, we use at least 6 different sizes of packaging to ship goods. In addition, we do not issue paper invoices, and also encourage our partners to reduce the amount of documents they print on paper.

Partnerships
In health care, there are many single-use consumables and devices to avoid the risk of contamination. We always give preference to partners whose products are sustainably produced or who have designed their products to optimise their material use.

Corporate environmental awareness
We continuously share ideas within the company on how to take small steps to be more resource and environmentally sustainable. We aim to sort waste in accordance and use only energy-efficient lighting.

We consistently strive to ensure that our operations are in line with international environmental standards and targets, while also complying with Estonian and European Union legislation.
